Spooklight SA launches augmented reality messaging app.

Spooklight Studios

Geneva-based mobile studio Spooklight SA have just released their second title, the augmented reality video messaging app: Kouji.

The app, which allows users to create a digital clone of themselves, makes use of the same technology which rocketed Pokémon Go to fame last year. Users can now film short 15 second video clips and add their Kouji avatar to reflect their mood and bring their messages to life.

Unique voice tracking software embedded in the app allows you to dub over your Kouji as their lips follow yours. Spooklight SA are constantly updating the app, adding everything from new outfits to moustaches and hats.

The app can now be downloaded through iTunes or the Google Play store for free.

Want to join the Spooklight team?

A small team of ten, Spooklight are currently looking for a talented Unity Developer to help them update Kouji with brand new features and exciting new ways to customise avatars, and a Growth Hacker, to help spread the word of their new app!

The fun-loving team make the most of celebrating their small-indie studio culture. Team socials are a highlight for the studio, with everyone going to Disneyland this year! Hard worker? Well you’re in for a treat. Every three months the studio rewards the staff member who has made the most progress with a reward, including weekends away abroad. Even better, after six months at Spooklight SA, the studio will allow you to dedicate one work day a week to personal development and projects.

So what are you waiting for? Click here for more info and to apply to Spooklight SA.
